2. In a scramble or team competition make sure that teams are as evenly matched as possible.
3. Spread out the members of the organizing committee or host company throughout the field of golfers to encourage interaction and help keep the day moving smoothly.
4. Advise your guests in advance if the dress for dinner is casual or business attire.
5. Set out the day's rules on a welcome sheet for each player. This will avoid the potential for embarrassing disputes when prizes are awarded.
